Walking Around Whiteley

With the weather looking brighter, and the evenings getting lighter, this is the perfect time to get outdoors and explore what Whiteley has to offer.

With meandering paths tucked among the new buildings, it is a great place to explore.

To help residents get to know their local area, Whiteley Town Council along with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, Winchester City Council and Walk, Wheel, Cycle Trust are delivering two led walks.

First up on the 18th of February, a family friendly 1 mile loop starting at Barn Farm at 10am. The walk includes the chance for crafting after the 30 minute ish trail, using items collected from the route to create your very own stick man.

The second led walk takes place on the 21st of February,  where we will be walking a 2.4-mile (shorter option available) nature loop starting at the Barn Farm Community. This walk has the addition of post walk refreshments for those who register.

Please do join us in getting to know your local area - see Barn Farm Facebook for more details or the poster below
